Join Us in Worship
We are so glad you found us! We invite everyone to get to know us as a church community. Please join us at the First Church of the Brethren in Roaring Spring, PA in worship on Sundays at 9:25 am. We are a community of welcome and worship where our people can find peace, purpose, and power through Jesus Christ! Please bring your friends and family. We are a fun-loving group of people of all ages and walks of life who love getting together to worship God. New to the area? Never been to our church before? You will be warmly greeted. We cannot wait to meet you! Please join us throughout the week for any of the activities we offer to our congregation!
Sunday Worship 9:25 am
Sunday School for all ages follows worship at 10:30 am.
Fellowship Time is held following worship the second Sunday of the month except in June, July, and August.
Children’s Church is offered for children Kindergarten through 5th grade during church service.
Adult Choir is open to all singers. No audition necessary! They are not active during the summer months of June, July and August.
A Nursery is available for children 8 weeks to 3 years of age during worship.
Activity Bags appropriate for children 3 years through 2nd grade are available from any Usher.

Annual Carnival Fun Day May 18th. It is a great family event being held at Albright Church of the Brethren (just like last year). Great family event from 10 am to 2 pm.
THE FELLOWSHIP HALL IS CLOSED UNTIL MONDAY. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER FOR ANY REASON. THE FLOORS ARE BEING WAXED AND NEED TIME TO CURE.
Graduates and their immediate family are invited to breakfast at 8:30 am, June 2nd. Please RSVP to Beth Burns no later than May 26th.
From our Missions & Service Team: In the months of May and June we are encouraging individuals, families, and friends to come together in small groups and create CWS Emergency Cleanup Kits. There is a sample bucket and detailed information in the Overflow Room. These kits have proven a help to many in the U.S. and around the world after disasters such as floods and tornadoes. They are distributed by Church World Service, mission partner of the Church of the Brethren for over 75 years. You can get more information from any M&S Team member, including Chair Marlys Hershberger.
Did you know that the Blessing Box is stocked multiple times per week? Items are kept in the Alpha Classroom. Please place donations in the totes. Items needed (small bottles are fine): shampoo, shower gel, laundry detergent, dish soap, bath soap, toilet paper, lotion, band-aids, toothpaste, tooth brushes, deodorant, lotion, and cleaning supplies.
Good Grief will b held May 21st at 6:30 pm. Anyone who is grieving is invited to attend.
