First Church's Updates

Weekly Update for First Church of the Brethren, April 13, 2026

Luke 24

15 As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; 16 but they were kept from recognizing him.

Jesus’s appearing on the road to Emanus highlights both an opportunity and a warning to us.   We never know when He is going to show up in people and in opportunities along our path.  So, be ready!  Pay attention!  Look for Christ and expect Him to show up as you journey along your path!

– Pastor Dave
